Pleats, please. The veracruz is a bright white, medium brim fedora. The crown has our signature pleat detail which helps the wearer to place the hat on their head at just the right angle. The shantung straw is a tight weave providing excellent sun protection for a tropical vacation. And while this hat is not packable, it does travel well. Simply place it gently in a tote bag for car rides to the beach or in the overhead bin on a flight. In keeping with the Pleat theme the grosgrain ribbon is pleated using a vintage tool which allows us to create crisp, even pleats. The ribbon is tied gently around. This brim has our signature leather piping which provides stability and luxury to the brim. It also helps to keep the brim in shape. The wearer can flip the brim up or down depending on the sun.
